Changing Tempo
I would like to change the tempo. How is this done? I brought up Tempo and see the "80" default shown and thought I could just highlight that and change the number. It doesn't work so clearly I am doing something wrong.

Thanks for your quick reply. I did it before your reply came in. Not sure if I did it as you stated but I got it by the following:
I clicked on the first note of the score, went into ADD and brought up TEMPO MARKING. It showed the default =80. I backspaced on "80" and put in the correct tempo. It works. The only thing that I would like is for it to not show the tempo marking. I suppose the way you stated, it wouldn't show or would it? Thanks, again for your response.

Click it and press "V" to make invisible. Double click on the time and write, for example, Andante.
Open Inspector and tick "Follow the text". If there are problems attach here your score, if you want.

I'm starting to laugh. Click what? The note or the tempo change or where? You will have to be more clear.

Got it!!! I wanted just "Slowly" in place of the tempo mark and typed it in. Thanks, very much. Was in the middle of eating and would have responded sooner. Great forum. Happy New Year.
