stupid beginner question (more to follow)
I haven't found the no-doubt simple answer to this question - where's the rest of my score? I set up a new score with several staves. The window shows the first 2/3 of the instruments, and it shows four pages worth. But I can't find the rest of the instruments. The piece starts with a cello line, so I have to be able to enter notes near the bottom and I can't find them. What simple icon or trick am I missing here? thank you.

Yes, I forgot to include some important information. I'm using version 1.1 and I'm doing it on a PC with Windows XP.

You setup a score with more than 15 staves? If yes, the paper is too small to contain all the instruments. You need to reduce the size of the music in Layout -> Page settings -> Scaling or to pick a bigger page size in the same dialog.
If you are a beginner, I would advice starting with something small and watch the video tutorials on http://musescore.org
