Change measure numbers
If I want to label the first partial (pickup) measure as measure 1, can musescore then label all the measures as well? Thank you.

Right click-> bar properties->add to bar number (accepts negative numbers eg - 2)

Right click on the pick up measure -> measure properties.... and deselect "exclude from measure count"
