Wind Band Template
Having seen the request for a brass band template (a very useful idea) I wondered if anyone has created a wind band one? I have tried a couple of tims but never quite got it to all fit properly!
Am loving Musescore, have finally given up using Sibelius at last!!!!

When you say "wind band", what exactly are you referring to? I am a high school band director and have made two templates for my marching band music (one with 1 clarinet and trumpet part and one with 2 clarinet and trumpet parts), and one for my concert band. Is that the "wind band" that you were asking about - a standard concert band? I saved it as a file called "Concert Band Template" with empty measures, and the parts already associated. I open my template file, edit the title, composer/arrange, the key signature, do a "Save As" and change the name to whatever piece I'm doing, and start entering notes. When I'm done I open the "Parts" dialoge, click each instrument and the "Create" button, and begin editing the parts to my liking.
I know that I can save it as a template and put it in the folder with the others, but it's just as easy for me to do it this way.

Yes a concert band is the one. I conduct a 40ish strong community band in the UK and am looking forward to using musescore to create some new pieces for it.
