Tabs not showing

Hi,
I'm trying to write a score, and have the software generate ditto tabs. I cannot make it happen. I have managed to make this exact thing work before, and I have checked that my settings are the same. I do this for 5 string electric bass, and my staffs (unsure if I use the right vocabulary here) are chosen accordingly. I get 5 lines where I can enter notes, and I get 5 lines for tabs, and those remain empty whatever I do.

Part of the story is that the last time, when I succeeded, my PC had Win 10. Now I'm on the same PC, but I run Win 11. Could that be the problem?

I'm totally new at this, so I could very well be doing something wrong, but help or hints would be greatly appreciated.
