Musescore playback start location issue
If I let my score finish playing and then select a note or measure to start playback it will instead start from the beginning of the score. An unrelated playback issue, the audio for the first note is often missing the first half of the note.

I've noticed if I select a single measure of a part in the score view, that ONLY that part plays. (If this is a new feature, I'd like to know how to turn it off!) If I happen to select a measure of rests, I hear nothing.

As far as I know there is no way to turn it off, but I am not very knowledgable.
If you want to play all instruments, select a single note or staff item. Or if you want to hear multiple instruments (but not all) highlight measures from more than one staff.

If you end up with a single selected measure, because that is way easier to select, then try pressing Esc once to clear the rectangle away. The position should be remembered.

Good tip, thanks! I did not know that one. Now if only someone would respond to the playback error I found...
