Trying to import an ABC file into Musescore 4, this is just an example - can't even find the plugin option - can anyone give me simple instructions? Thank!

Musescore doesn't know about abc.
If you use the plugin or not, the first step is to convert to musicxml. Musescore will open musicxml.
You could e.g. use this:
https://wim.vree.org/svgParse/abc2xml.html
if the plugin does not work.

Thanks, a bit above my tech level but I think I might be able to translate, will give it a try!
