Grace Notes Before a Measure
I know this has been asked before, but the solution to the already answered questions isn't adequate for me. Attached here is the file I'd like to replicate.
Yes, I've tried to do a "grace after", but it doesn't appear to work on a rest.
(Using Musescore 4)

Would you mind attaching a score, even if it is work-in-progress?
I guess you want the grace notes to appear in the previous measure. And if you just add them the normal way, they appear after measure line? Is that your problem?

I would propose to put them not as grace notes, but in a different voice (perhaps voice 3 to get the stems pointing upwards) and make them small, and make the extra rests that will appear, invisible.
