Menu shortcuts for not obvious operations

Hello,
is it possible to create "menu shortcuts" (as answer to a "How do I..." question) for some useful operations?
For example, I would like to add a "free flowing text". Now I have to add a vertical frame, then a horizontal frame, and then add a text. Could all that be done (semi-)automatically with a menu selection or a key press?
I think there are other operations which could be done, but the user (especially a new user) just do not know how to do it, or it takes more clicks than it should (I expected adding text to b e a simple operation, yet I had to read the manual before I could do it).
