Musescore is turning Band in a Box files into Musescore files.
Hey!
Absolutely love the new Musescore 4.1. Only one slight problem: Whenever I have a saved Band in a Box file, it takes it over as a Musescore file. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks for any and all help!

This is happening on my iMac as well. The recommended method to change this shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-Vw6jAEmE8
does not work on my iMac. I've tried it several times with various BIAB files. :-(
Has anyone found a solution to this problem? MuseScore opens SGK, SGU and MGU files when they SHOULD open in Biab. It even changes the icon from Biab to Muse. I have tried 'Get Info, change all' but it doesn't work. Is the fault with MuseScore or Biab? And how do I fix it?

When you install a program, it tells your operating system what file types it handles. Then, when you click on a file, your operating system selects which application to use to open that file based upon its file type. Your operating system assigns the icon, again based on the file type.
Google "file association + Windows" or "file association + Mac"
