Live Braille Feature
Hi,
I am new to MuseScore, although I have used other music notation software in the past.
I just downloaded version 4.1.1. I don't seem to be able to find the live braille feature, as demonstrated in MuseScore 4.1.1. YouTube video. Am I missing something? Could you please advise me?
Thank you!
Yu Lee

I think that you are looking for this menu option:
Edit > Preferences > Braille > Enable/disable > Show braille panel
There is quite a good description of the Braille features for MS 4.1 (and soon for MS 4.2) in this article:

"how to enter braille sixteenth notes in musescore 4.2"
Unfortunately I know nothing about Braille music input, and the MuseScore handbook is still empty on this topic.
The most detailed info I have been able to find is in the link I provided in an earlier post (https://www.mu.se/post/704tef5v71-accessibility-breakthrough-compose-in…), where the relevant passage is as follows:
BRAILLE 6-KEY NOTE INPUT
In addition to being able to read braille music on the braille display, the release of MuseScore 4.2 later this year, will make it possible to write music into the braille panel as braille music notation and have it appear on the screen as print music. This is done using the six keys on the computer keyboard – S, D, F, J, K, L – which represent the six dots in a braille cell. These keys can be pressed in different combinations to create all the possible braille patterns.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. Normally, sixteenth notes are indicated as whole note and the space is used as a bar measure, but as Musescore automatically calculates the measure, it takes my first sixteenth note as a whole note.
I'm not sure if I'm making myself clear, but we'll see in future updates.
thanks
Christophe
