How to define number of measures on a line
I'm learning to use Musescore and I've run into a snag when typing in lyrics. Suddenly I can't separate words with hyphens or even use the space bar to go to the next word. I think the system might think I'm running out of room. ? Maybe. I did add more measures to make sure there are plenty, but that didn't help. Is there a way to define how many measures are on a line to make sure there's enough room for the words? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

No, reducing the number of measures on a line did not help at all. If anyone knows what is going wrong, I would very much appreciate the help,

Never mind, I was making a stupid mistake. The measure was full of rests, no notes. Blech!
