Musescore is getting to be so popular. I can't wait for the HTML gurus of the Internet to catch up with us and add a musescore element. hahaha!! Until then, I'll keep using audio and img tags !

MuseScore already provide the code to embed your score with a player into an html iframe. Open a web score then look for Share > Embed. You can edit the iframe attributes to suit your page, e.g. sizes.
