Orchestration help
I want to orchestrate this melody further, it's the Lord's prayer, but with the melody made by romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu. This is what I came up with for the first part of the melody, do you have any tips on what I should change? I consider the first part done until the strings sustained chords are over. Any tips and help would be greatly appreciated. (Also please don't be too harsh, I am just a beginner). I forgot to say that I use musesound, so use them for the sound I intented, thanks!

Dear Biholarsami,
I have just listened to your piece, twice. I think that it is
going well. The opening is very atmospheric and enticing.
I would like to see the words in English - a translation
(even if they are not sung). A few thoughts:
You could extend the Harp arpeggios up into the right hand.
The harp can play 4 notes chords in each hand (as long as the
notes are not more than the span of an Octave) The percussion
parts have very little to do (so far) I wonder if you need to have
all the percussion players?
I would encourage you to continue with the piece to the end.
Next time, you embark on a composition, I suggest that you
find a group (orchestra or chamber group) and write for them
to play. You will learn a lot from hearing your composition
played and also from the players, as they can be
encouraged to give you feedback. OK? Jeff

Hey Jeff, thank you for your answer, it means a lot. I adjusted the harp arpeggios and it sounds wonderful. I will be back with the finished piece and also with the lyrics, and I would also like to hear your opinion on what I should improve. Take care!
