Adding cues
Does anyone know how to enter cues on a part before an entry (after a long multiple bar rest)? I just want to show a few notes of another part (ie a cue phrase) in smaller notation.
I can see how to format "small notes" but I don't know how to toggle them on or off.

By "on or off" do you mean
a) how to switch between normal size and small size?
b) how to turn the visibility of the cue notes on and off?
c) how to turn the sound of the cue notes on and off?
Select the note and then in the appearance section of the properties panel you should see all the relevant settings as tick boxes. Just tick/untick the appropriate ones for your needs.

Got it. Thanks! I knew that toggle (for option (a)) would be somewhere!
Dear Mach,
I thought I would walk you through the process of adding cues.
1. Decide where you want the cue to begin.
2. Copy the cue and paste it before the next instrument that you are cue-ing.
3. Write the Initials for the instrument providing the cue and place it at
the start of the cue. (Just above the staff) Eg: Vln or Timp - then make the Initials smaller.
Eg: If the Staff Text is normally 10 pts - make the Cue 8 pts.
4. Now, make the cue notes smaller also. Copy the cue and the Initial of the
Instrument will be copied also. You can use the same cue for all other instruments
which are coming in at that point. This saves you having to do the whole process
again and again. I hope that this makes sense and helps! Jeff
