Bass Viol Tab
Hi folks. I want to use the classical guitar tab format to create tab for a bass viol. Like the guitar it is tuned in 4ths but unlike the guitar the M3rd is between the 4th and 3rd strings not 3rd and 2nd like the guitar. Can a tweak be done? Thanks

There's a thing in the Handbook about altering string tuning. Have you tried it?

Thanks. I just had a go. It seems to adjust it for just 3 bars ahead (strangely).

I would start again and set up a new score using the wizard. Type bass viol into the search box and it will come up with the standard tuning. Then add a linked tablature stave. Save as a template for future use.
