Discerning a note's beam properties
In 1.3, it is possible via the Beam Properties palette: when the palette is open, the element on the palette that represents that note's beam properties is highlighted.
This functionality has disappeared in 2.0. I wondered if it was deliberate or could be considered a bug?

I was using a two-day-old Nightly, so I just downloaded the most recent - 3338af9.
Nope, still doesn't work.

No shading, no highlighting. :-(

I'm having a hard time attributing this to a diff between your Win 8.1 and my Win7, or to your uses of a nightly and mine of a selfbuild.
Are you too using the Advanced Workspace and the light theme? Have you tried a factory reset?
Oh, it only works outside note entry mode, but that's not different from 1.x.

I've been using a user-defined workspace in order to be able to edit my Palettes.
I switched to 'Advanced' - and now it works!
Still ... should it be considered a bug that it does not work in a custom workspace?

Guess it is time to report this in the issue tracker?
