Blurred Graphics

Gnome 2.30.2
All notes, clefs, notations on staffs are blurred on Zooms less than 400.
Most Graphics in Palettes, and notes in GUI are blurred.
I have uninstantiated and reinstalled Musescore with no avail.
Attached are screen-shots illustrating the bug.

I found some references to other posts about this bug:

So this problem does not occur when zoom level in the toolbar is more than 400%?

I saw this bug once with the same configuration. We didn't find the exact cause but it was somehow due to Gnome fonts management. Take a look in your system display preference and check your font configuration, antialising, subpixel etc... I will try to boot an ubuntu in english to find the right path if necessary.

Thank you very much with your offer to assist. I have tried to check the attributes you referenced, and have been unsuccessful. I am new to Ubuntu Linux and need more education on the OS. I would very much appreciate your further investigation. Thank You
