My first little compsition
This is the first piece of music that wasn't just testing. It's very simple and I made it so my band could play it, but some of our equipment broke, so we can't. It's based off of what my band sounds like when our teacher is in the room, and when she is not. Ignore the file name, i couldn't think of anything else to name it at the time.

I downloaded your score and played it. I liked the rhythm of the tubular bells and xylophone providing the steady pulse behind the brass and woodwinds.
Thank you for sharing.

Interesting. But I wonder if the flute will be heard at all. The first octave is not very good for a flute when it plays together with other wind instruments. Of course it has to be balanced when playing for real. Might work.

i don't understand how these guys dl your file. it's a backup file (mscz, note the comma at the end). i'm interested to hear what it sounds like after the written introduction you gave for it.

I guess you can still download it, with the comma. Then just delete the comma from the file name and you're ok.

Try to download it ;)
It has tension & dissonance but not too much. I would recommend increasing the tempo and replacing the flute with something that would cut through better. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for all of your comments. I was just messing around with this, I'll try to make a better piece soon.
