MuseScore 1.1 prerelease ready for testing
Hi everyone,
The MuseScore 1.1 prerelease is ready for testing. We have one for Windows and Mac users. Install it as usual.
While you are downloading the prerelease, it is advised to read what is new. The release notes for MuseScore 1.1 not only list the new features, but also bug fixes and the new translations that have been added to this release.
If you find some weird behavior, don't hesitate to report back. But before you do, do a search first to make sure the behavior/bug/... has not been posted before.
If no critical bugs pop up anymore, we can release MuseScore 1.1 by the end of next week.

General styles and text styles don't work :( For example I can't change stave distance, title or composer fonts, etc.
And my second request - I please update polish handbook if it's possible.
It's all, thx,

It's known issue for text styles. They didn't work in 1.0 either.
For general style, it should work. Can you give steps to reproduce ? Do you know that stave distance doesn't apply to staff in a piano staff / grand staff ? you need to use "Accolade distance".
The polish handbook has been updated as it was on the Thu Jul 14 13:46:02 2011 UTC. Do you think it's not good ?
And where is the download link to source code tarball? :)

Do what you want. I updated handbook today... It's all.
"They didn't work in 1.0 either." - Why? No, sorry - ok, I understood - maybe so to be...
Bye...

It's a prerelease, there is no tarball yet. A tarball will be made before the actual release and the linux distro maintainers will be notified. Lasconic, correct me if I'm wrong.
When will MuseScore 1.1 be released?
In reply to When? by Gootector
Their Facebook and Twitter post from approximately 8 am this morning (US Eastern time) said tomorrow, which I'm assuming means Wednesday 7/27. The post...
"MuseScore 1.1 is one day away from being released. Help us by translating your language up to 100%.

I wasn't really able to test 1.1 because of a problem on Mac.
