Repeat Playback issues
I am currently writing a score with 3 volta style ending (the third of which goes to the end). Playback is working properly up until the third ending. The playback replays the second ending instead of going to the third. I have tried deleting them and reapplying them and I just don't know what I am doing wrong. I am new to this so I'm sure it is a silly mistake on my part.

Have you read the Handbook on the subejct? Normally it's a matter of setting the properties on the volta and the measures containing the repeat signs. If you continue to have difficulty, post the score you are having trouble with and someone should be able to help.

I have read the handbook on voltas and repeats. I am using the "Seconda volta 2" for the third ending and I changed the text and repeat property to 3. I also tried using the regular "terza volta" but it didn't work either. I just don't understand how to get it to jump to the third ending when there is no repeat sign at the end of it. I can post the score if it helps.

I know this is not intuitive, and maybe my understand is wrong - I seldom use this feature - but I think you need to set the volta properties for your 2nd and 3rd endings to *1*, not 2 & 3. That's because you want this volta playerd the first *that particular volta* is encountered. Higher counts would be used if you needed the same volta played multiple times.
