Creating drum phrasing...
Perhaps I'm missing the obvious, but I need help creating phrases for a drum line.
Here is an example of what I'm trying to create:
Basically a straight line connecting several notes in the bar, in the center of which can be placed text or numbers.
Is this currently possible on Musescore?

Not really. The closer one is to use a line from the line palette. Drag the last line from the last palette to the first note. Right click the line -> Line properties and choose to put a hook at the beginning and the end of the line. Choose -1.50 for the hook length. Extend the line with double click on it and Shift + right arrow. For the L/R use lyrics . For the 6, use a simple staff text, click on first note, Ctrl + T and move the text.
One thing the MuseScore 1.1 can't do, it's the subbeam between the 16th note and the tuplet. See attached file.

No 1.1 can't do subbeam. MuseScore 2.0 will be able to do it. A subbeam is a single line between to 16th notes. When I open your file, I see the following. Compare with the first image.
