A new Orchestral Piece
This isn't so much a new piece, as one I've been working on using a variety of notation programs, over a number of years. I did however create the most recent "complete" version using Musescore; and I was wondering if you guys could give it a quick review.
(You can also find the music on my page, as well as some of my other compositions.)

Very interesting piece, really. Well done! I like very much the basses figure, and the contrast between the winds and the violin section to this bass line. I'd suggest you make use of the "Mixer" option in this piece, following a normal orchestra disposition, this way some sections will be heard more easily.

Sadly, as I originally wrote this on another piece of software, I had to convert it to a midi file to use it in Musescore. In the process some of the sounds got messed up. I fixed it to the best of my ability, but I'm afraid this is the best I could get it without spending weeks trying to figure out what else went wrong. I really do wish I knew though. If only to keep it from happening in the future.

Well, I had some similar issues when I imported a piece from MIDI to Musescore. To reset the velocities coming from the MIDI track, you can do a Ctrl-A (select all the measures), then open the Inspector, then pressing the "Notes" within the Inspector. There, you can reset all the notes velocities via the "Note->Velocity" box.

THANK YOU! I tried changing the velocities after I read your comment, and you have saved me SO much work!
I've updated the score:

Cool, now the unison note between the 1/2 violins, and also the wind passages, sound much better :)
