Question about inserting notes on MuseScore 2
Hi,
Does anyone know if I can change a setting on the program to make low E and G# ( the ones right to the left of middle C) appear together on the treble clef? The G# goes on there but I can't get the E to go with it (it automatically goes to the base clef).

What input method are you using? If you are using the key board you can type E, shift G (then add the sharp symbol) and they will appear as a chord. This is on the selected staff in the selected measure. If the note ends up a octave too high, then select the note and press ctrl-downarrow to lower it an octave.

I am using the midi input, but I just did what you said and it worked. I think I had it wrong before because I was trying to input base and treble at the same time. Thank you very much for the advice.

Since any note can theoretically be entered on any staff (by either changing the clef or adding ledger lines) there is little a program can do to put notes on multiple staves as you enter them.

Yeah, I guess so.
