Who cares?
I didn't even know there was such a thing as MOTM until now. I use MuseScore to create scores. I use the forum to enhance my knowledge, help others (hopefully) and have a bit of banter. If you've got a Pro account and are paying money to help the cause (which I'm not) and you get voted as a special contributor then that seems fine by me.

I don't know, underquark; it's not "a special contributor" Tomato-Senpai noted, it is a MOTM. They're not the same, are they?
The only think I can think of is that those with a PRO account are going to have a lot more scores uploaded from which the judging can take place.
Hi Tomato, to give you an official answer: During the selection for MuseScorer of the Month, the pro status is not taken into account. Obviously one with more scores has more reach and therefore more chances to get noticed.
