Can't see note selection panel or Layer selection icons
The line of options(where you select whole/half/rest/dot/ect.) along with the four colored icons for writing a layer onto on staff are missing. I've tried all the ADD options and VIEW options along with looking up a solution to the problem online. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the program but it remained the same. Please let me know how to solve this problem!!

You can get this "line" (called toolbar) back, when you right-click at another toolbar (or the menubar) and select "note entry" (or something similar).
With MuseScore it doesn’t help to uninstalled and reinstalled the program because it saves the preferences at the computer. To clear the preferences you can follow this link:
