Repeat Not Working
Any idea why the repeat at t bar 8 isn't working on the attached score (I definitely have "Play Repeats" selected

I added a beginning repeat sign at the start of the first measure and it worked. I don't know if it's a bug that it doesn't automatically repeat back to the beginning, or if that's the way it's designed.

You do need the repeat sign at the beginning. But if you wish, you can right-click it and make it invisible (non-printing).
MuseScore should repeat from the start and is confused by the start repeat barline between measure 9 and 10. If you remove it, it works.
Thanks for your help. As you could probably see it's a work in progress - I have about another 20 bars to enter.
Anyway as a result of your comments I put an "end repeat" in the last bar and that sorted it out too.
Although the score is incomplete I was still expecting MS to handle the first section like a human would. I guess that's not a bug.
