Nested midi messages. Note X On, Note X On, Note X Off, Note X Off.

When saving into midi a score with second voice, the second voice is saved in the same track, same channel. I couldn't find any proper interpretation of nested notes for the same channel. Many editor just ignore second Note Off and show only a quater note.

In the first tact of attached midi, the two first messages are Note On for the SAME note G of the 4th octave:
Note On ,G4
Note On, G4
...
(quater note ends)
Note Off, G4
...
...
(4-quater note ends)
Note Off, G4

Any comments on this would be very appreciated.
