Repeats, voltas and jumps - the player unable to follow instructions

• Apr 22, 2016 - 22:31

I'm working with the version 2.0.3 revision 3c7a69d on windows 7 professional.
I set up the following scheme, which is a combination of repeats, voltas and jumps. Because it is some kind of rondo with three different verses and with minor change in theme and a closure, actually the scheme is quite complicated, but - as I think - it is clear. Please, see attached sheet.
The problem is, that the player does not follow the scheme: it plays the 5th volta after the first repeat, jumping to 2nd volta instead. Then continues with 2nd volta and is running without error until the end of 4th volta, when however, does not jump back to segno and does not run its last repeat jumping to 5th volta and stopping there.
Could somebody flash a glance to the score giving an idea? I screened all topics related to voltas and jumpings, and tried every relevant suggestions, but without any result for my problem.
Thanks! Repeats,voltas,jumpings.mscz

Welcome aboard.

First, see:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/volta

Quite a convoluted road map you have there... way too many Segnos, Codas, D.S., etc. A human musician would be hard pressed to navigate the score.
Another big problem is putting the 5th ending before the 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

Here's what I think you mean - see attachment.

Also, what do you want to be played immediately before your (final) 5th ending -- do you want to jump from the second measure, over the 1st ending, and play the fifth ending?
That's what playback does in my attachment. If not, you can expand my fifth ending and enter any additional notes.

Regards.
