how to save as usable midifile for Cinema4d plugin

Hi,
I use musescore for creating midifiles. Those midifiles i use for manipulating graphics. So i import the midi file in a graphics application (cinema 4d) but the graphic app doesn't always recognize the midi file. The first attachment groove is not recognized, the second is.... So i assume you have to save it in a certain way. does anybody know how?
