Is There A Way To Mute...
I a composing a jazz piece at the moment that has a few repeated phrases. I would like to mute the trumpets the first time around and have them play the sting notes the second time around, but I cannot find a way to get this to happen.
Is this even a feature with the newest version of Musescore and if so, could someone explain how I go about doing it.

Not currently possible with regards to playback. As with most such requests, best idea is to do the written score first and then make a special score with the repeats extended (insert new bars, copy, paste) for playback or MP3 creation.
