Break in multi bar rests
I have a situation where an ensemble part has 7 bars rest but there is a rit. for the rest of the ensemble in the 3rd bar of this 7 bars rest and it goes back to A tempo at the 4th bar of the 7 bars rest.
What I would like to do is show a multi bar rest of 2 bars, then one normal bar where I would mark the rit. then a multi bar rest of 4 bars at the beginning of which I would mark the A tempo. I think this is necessary to let the resting player know what the rest of the ensemble is doing.
Is there any way to do this?

Yes. Right click on the third measure -> Measure properties -> Break Multimeasure rest. Do the same on the fourth. Then apply the style for creating multimeasure rests.
