How can I move first note(s) to an initial pickup measure, and reflow the rest of the score?
I imported the melody-line track from a midi file. The score (4/4 time) looks great, but it starts with a full 4-beat measure. I need to move the first note to an initial pickup measure, and reflow the rest of the measures accordingly.
Is there a way to do this in MuseScore?

It is difficult to provide exact steps without seeing what you see. Better to upload the score (or part of the score) the next time, but I'll try to answer.
Select the note in the first measure that starts on the second beat.
Now go to menu: Edit->Measure-> Split Measure Before Selected Note

Cut the whole thing.
Select where that first note should go.
Paste.
MS will not reflow generally.
