abc Export and Import
Nils Liberg's excellent EasyABC has a drag and drop facility that imports MusicXML files and exports them as abc text. Check it out at

Is it possible to adapt this programme to export abc text from within MuseScore?
If not it is no great problem. Just save MuseScore files as MusicXML files and export to abc with Nil's programme.
Importing abc into MusScore is trickier, however. The abc plugin needs improvement; at present it does not work well for me.

What you may want to do is dig into the import abc plugin and transform it into an export plugin which speak with EasyABC through a REST web service. If this is chinese for you, perhaps you can contact Nils and he can have a look at it.
On which OS are you using easyABC ?
Apparently easyABC comes with xml2abc, a python utility to convert MusicXML to ABC. It should not be too hard to call this via a MuseScore plugin to get an ABC file.
