How do you do a repeat and fade? I have the repeat set up, but I need the second time through to fade to no sound.

There is currently no way to do that in the current version of musescore playback. However, you can write "fade out 2x only", or a "2x" next to a decrescendo with an n at the end, the n means "nothing". composers do it all the time to show the player to fade, but it will not fade in the playback in the current version of musescore.
