Barline stye requests.
Please can we have a half barline added to the barline palette.
Those of us working in the Liturgical field of composition often require this when writing in plainsong and other chant styles for setting irregular text. Conventionally in plainchant notation the barline system shows when to take a breath - a half barline denoting a quick breath, a normal barline denoting a full breath and double barline a section end.
The conventional sign for the half barline is currently missing from MuseScore. This is a short barline spanning the 2nd and 4th lines of the stave.
OK I realise that you can create this manually but this involves double-clicking each barline required and resizing it - not very practical for a score of more than a few bars in length!
The other thing that is sometimes required in this field is the ability to suppress Grand Staff barlines in keyboard parts. I have yet to find a mechanism for achieving this in MuseScore. Please can we have this facility.
