Two etudes for left hand alone alone.

Here are finally my Etudes #2&3 for the left hand alone .
The 3rd one is better for right hand alone actually.
In the 2nd one large spread out double notes or chords are always split .I dont even want the suggestion of a solid chord. Arpeggiate as necessary even though it's a fast etude. I'm particularly pleased with etude #2 it came out quickly will doubtlessly develop into something more fantasy -sprawling like. It might end as a FAntasy Etude like Corigliano's for the left hand alone . We WILL SEE! MuseScore is the greatest resource I know of.What a great gift to all of us to be able to hear our work ...immediateley played exactly . This must not be an end in itself but it is a great gift!!!
the first etude is in D Flat major and it comes from an idea of Godowsky's who made at least 54 some etudes out of Chopin's original 24 .Not all of them but even seven for one of them.His genius is unparallelled. He could have written many of them & few would have known the source. My first etude is reminiscent of his music and Ravel's .
Etude # 4 is already taking shape as a Boulezian abrasive,violent,strident choppy musics an abrupt ,percussive, blistering,mercurial emotional fantasy ." Dangerous as a weapon" is its subtitle. It will use the arm,elbow ,nose,feet and haed to blister the piano in WELTERING Batteries of attacks Please look for it soon!!!
