Using mixer on website, voices sound very staccato

When playing back normally, the voice sounds legato. This is also the case in the desktop and mobile apps. However, when using the mixer on the website (which requires enabling the "synthesizer"), the voices sound very staccato.
Is this a bug? I'm sad to say it makes the mixer (and thus most of the reason for my pro subscription) useless for me, since it will deliver a poor experience for the members of my choir who are using my scores with the mixer for practicing their individual parts. :(

Another possible bug with the web player... Though not specific to the synthesizer. Check out this score, measure 10: https://musescore.com/user/1934251/scores/1744341
Is sounds like the treble clef plays more notes than what is present. Specifically, it sounds like an F# is played just after the the natural F.
