MIDI import of piano to grand staff
I imported from MIDI a piece that has piano track. It shows only the treble clef. Is it possible to show a grand staff so it won't look so awkward? Bass notes on a dozen ledger lines? (Of course, the assignment of notes to the staffs may not be perfect. But I know at least Sibelius tries to split them into the treble and bass clef somewhat intelligently...)
I'm using r1667.

I noticed the same behavior.
The only workaround I've found is the follow:
In some other midi Editor (I use Sonar),
1. I create to separate track for bass and treble,
2. Then I import each track from midi
3. Then crate new score with piano staff
4. Copy each staff to correspondent staff.

You can also right click on the treble staff and choose "split staff"
