colors
i'm trying to change the color of one entire measure, with mixed success.
noteheads, stems and rests change color without problems.
stem hooks, ties and slurs change color but revert to original black on reload.
beams don't change color, but display the new chosen color in the "Color..." dialog box.
lyrics don't change color at all.
until this is fixed, can anyone think of a workaround? not worried about lyrics so much right now, but kind of need the rest of the elements.

What version of MuseScore are you using?

using 1.1 on a Mac. was this addressed in a nightly build?

I have the same problem. I want to color notes according to the string used to play them. When I select a consecutive range of notes and color them, I get two problems:
1. Every bar within the range gets colored.
2. Note heads get colored, but not stems and flags.
Besides, when undoing the action, bars do not change their color back. What I had to end up doing is to color every single note head, stem, and flag individually. I am using MuseScore 1.2 (revision 5470) on OS X Mountain Lion.
