Voicing Question

I'm trying to input notes. The original is in the first picture I've attached and what Musescore is giving me is in the second pic. I'm not able to get the notes to place where I want them. Musescore is putting the notes on top of each other. I've tried increasing the additional leading space and voices 1 and 2 move together. What am I missing?

Double-click the half-note and move it with the arrow keys. Click to release the note and see where it is. Adjust accordingly.
