not enough beats in measure
I have been editing my score. I deleted some base clef notes in the piano part, and instead of 4 beats, one of the measures has rests that equal 2 and a half. All other measures have 4 beats. I tried deleting the second voice in the treble clef, thinking maybe some base notes had gotten put up there, but that didn't help. I can't find the extra rests anywhere. Nor can I put in four beats of notes without the program adding them to the next measure. I've attached a file that shows what I mean. The first measure is the problem; second has the four beats.
I have version 1.1, revision 4611 of musescore. I am using Windows 7.
Thank you for your help,
Barbara

Just click in the bass measure so it has the blue box and press the Delete key. This seems to straightens out the measure for me.
EDIT: Actually, you have some serious corruption in the bass clef of measure 1 and the treble clef of measure 2. I hope simply deleting (clearing) the appropriate measures will fix it.

That worked beautifully. And measure 2 is fine in the original - for some reason, it lost some notes when I copied it.
Thank you for your help.
