Portato direction: down and anchor: above staff not cooperating

When the direction of a portato (tenuto + staccato thing) is down and is anchored above the staff, it will appear as though it is anchored below the staff. The moment you change the direction to up with the anchor set as such, it jumps, where it should have been in the first place, above the staff. Anchor above and below chord appear to work fine as well. This can be 'fixed' by setting the vertical offset to -8.00sp or so, but... that just doesn't keep the spirit of things.
