4/4 jazz/swing - how do I set it up to play with swing feel?
Hi
How do I set musescore so that when I enter some notes, it plays the notes back with a swing/jazz feel? Do I have to use 12/8 as the time signature or can it be accomplished with some setting somewhere?

You can set swing or shuffle playback in Display -> Play panel. Keep in mind that this setting will not be saved in your score.

Thanks very much - I tried typing swing into the search engine when looking at the manual, but it didn't return any result, hence me asking about this in the forum.

That setting will not be saved in your score (you'll have to reset it the next time you open the score), but if you export to MIDI or WAV while you have it set for swing/shuffle, the resulting sound file will indeed play in that style.
