chord diagrams: dots in barred chords even on the top string

• Jan 18, 2017 - 07:39

Hello everyone,

I play the ukulele and we often play barred chords and even play a different fret (from the barre) on the top string (the left one on the diagrams) but there is no such example among the chord diagrams.
Also, if I want to have only 4 strings then the two string on the right disappear. If I could choose to make strings on the left disappear that also could solve the problem (because some of the examples provided now would fit in this case). (The option to choose would also be useful because consequently, the ukulele chord diagrams would be exactly above the notes they refer to and not slightly on the left from them. :))
Thank you if you can solve it!

Fretboard diagrams are customizable. See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/fretboard-diagrams#edit-fretboard-dia…

Basically, you can start by adding any of the guitar diagrams to your score, then right click on that diagram; then, in Fretboard Diagram Properties, change Strings to 4.
To place a dot on a string fret, (while in Fretboard Diagram Properties) click on that fret. To remove the dot, click on the fret again.

To place the ukulele chord diagrams exactly above the notes they refer to and not slightly on the left from them, right click on a diagram, select all similar elements, and then change Horizontal offset in the Inspector:

Also, if you look at the image, you can see that dots can be placed along with a barre.

Regards, and welcome aboard!
