August 2012 New Etude for Piano

This study is just that a study in how to make deliberate polytonalities beautiful ,sensuous in the old fashioned sense meaning certain pitches will need to be voiced dependant on others . This is a gentle ,pleading intense little piece one needs to be aware of its harmonies or all is lost . It could be called a Prieure or prayer and I may try scoring it for clarinet french horn and string quartet along with some other works so that it can be heard with the right care given to its levels . Most of all it is tender ,communicative music.
