files not opening at all

None of my scores are opening at all! When I open musescore (2.0.3), I get the start centre and then when I click on a score to open, nothing happens - only the screensaver. The musescore icon is on the taskbar, but there is no score. When I hover over the taskbar, it just shows a blank white square. I am able to select 'create new score' from the start centre, and I can go through that whole process (title, key signature, instruments etc.) and then at the end there is no score. I downloaded musescore again and selected the 'repair' option, but is still not working.

Has this happened before to anyone. Any idea what I can do to fix it?
