Indicating a non-adjective tempo

• Sep 16, 2012 - 10:15

Hi, I would like to know how could I indicate a tempo in Musescore using a notation like (quarter note)=120? Instead of indicating directional adjectives like allegro, maestoso and stuff? Thanks.

Add a tempo close to the one you want Create-> Text-> Tempo.
It will appear with the adjective on the score. Double click and edit it there. You will see a line on the bottom that allows you to change the font, size, bold etc.
You can also change color, add frame and some other settings from Style-> Edit Text Style-> Tempo
