Colour highlighting sections of score

I'm a fairly new user of Musescore, and am now pretty hooked on it,
giving myself more and more complicated projects as I learn about all
the different features. My latest thing is just to transcribe some
music which was originally in landscape form into portrait so that it
will go in my singing folder. However this piece has many repeats and
also insertions of a refrain and I would like to be able to highlight
the sections in different colours to make them easier to pick out. I
have discovered the colour change possibilities via Edit/Preferences,
but cannot find a way of applying these just to specific sections of the score.
Is this possible?
