Help!!! Splash screen then only play panel...
Hi - was using Musescore all day yesterday then suddenly, after a break, when I run the program the splash screen shows, then the play panel and that's it...
I'm running Windows 7.
If I hover over the icon at the bottom of the screen it shows me a little picture, which shows the current song, and I can play it - but I can't get the program to show.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no joy.
Really frustrated - any ideas would be really appreciated?

Can you post a screen shot of the problem here?
I think I know what may be wrong, but need to see the screen to be sure.

Sure - I've taken a screenshot but it won't let me paste it here so I've pasted it into a pdf - hope that's ok?

It's not what I thought.
Somehow the application window has been shrunk to the size it is currently.
If you right click the title bar (where it says MuseScore then the score title) you should see options to restore the window to its normal size. Why the normal window manipulation icons are missing I'm not sure - they are there when I shrink the window on my Windows 7 machine.
You could also try dragging the corner marked with dots at the right of the bar and beat indicators.
If not then I'm not sure what to suggest - maybe one of the Windows 7 help forums?

Try to right click the MuseScore icon in the task bar and click restore ?
